Access control is a permissions problem wearing a hardware costume. The readers and locks are the easy part; the hard part is a directory that stays true when people join, move department and leave, and a rule set that survives an auditor reading it line by line.

We build both. Doors, turnstiles, barriers and lifts run off one policy engine tied to your HR system, so revoking a leaver takes one action and leaves one record.

Can we keep our existing cards?

Often yes. We read what you have, tell you honestly whether it is clonable, and give you a migration path that does not require reissuing every badge in one weekend.

Does it work if the network drops?

Yes. Controllers hold their rules and their event buffer locally and reconcile when the link returns. A dead switch must never mean a door that will not open.

Is biometric data allowed under GDPR?

It is special-category data and needs a proper basis, a DPIA and usually a non-biometric alternative. We will tell you when it is worth the paperwork and when a card is simply the better answer.
